I find Jerry's playing in that time span with that lineup to be his most inspired in relation to the various JGB lineups.I caught 14 or 15 shows in that era and something was always really good each night. He seemed particularly strong on the Dylan covers,Tangled Up,Simple Twist, and especially Positively 4th Street.I'd recommend 2/17/80,2/23/80 early show,2/29/80,3/1/80 early show. There is a video of Simple Twist from 3/1/80 on YouTube.I don't know how to do that link stuff.

While Jerry was smoking on this JGB tour I absolutely HATE to listen to Ozzie's crap synth leads. Totally dated.

October 7, 1979 – March 27, 1980

Tho Ozzie continued on keys for most of 80.
